Josh began racing as a young man in BMX (Bicycle Motocross)
where he learned strategy, technique, sportsmanship and racing
etiquette. With this experience and his natural talent, he
moved from the BMX Arena to Moto Cross in 1991.
Josh
raced Moto Cross from 1991 to 2001, winning numerous trophies
and titles including the Amateur Nationals Championship in
1996.
In
1998, Josh began racing Sno Cross. Over 5 years, Josh
participated in both professional and semi-professional levels
in three classes; placing and winning in several events. The
most notable were 1st place in WSA® Regional and 10th Place
in the ESPN Winter X-Games® qualifier.
In
2003, Josh began racing 360 modified cars. He assembled his
team and car while racing a few races to get the lay of the
land.
In
2004, Josh began a full season of racing at Fairmont Raceway
as well as participation of at 4 other local tracks. The #63,
360 modified race team earned 6th place in season points
standings at both Fairmont Raceway and Nobles County
Speedway(Worthington).
