Shawn is the right hand crew chief of the Meyer Motorsports team.  He is thoroughly involved in every level of the team's activities from off season preparation to weekly maintenance, engine and chassis set up, to track strategy and throwing tires during a pit stop.

Shawn's interest in all things mechanical began with building engines and working on hot rods when he was 15.

Shawn began helping Josh in 2000 during the Snocross racing circuit.

Shawn's extensive knowledge and expertise comes from over 18 years of racing experience.  He has been involved with several drivers and teams including Denny Brietbarth, Mark Steuber, Mike Steuber, Willy Kraft, and Garry Oskerson.  Meyer Motorsports is honored to have him as such a valuable member of our team.

Shawn currently resides in Fairmont, Minnesota and looks forward to showing any doubters that Meyer Motorsports is a real contender.
